Phalloplasty
(Penile Surgery)

What is phalloplasty (penis surgery)?

Phalloplasty (penile surgery) such as penile augmentation (penis enlargement) is a procedure used to either lengthen or increase the girth of the penis.  This can be done by dermal fat grafting or fat injections or surgery.

Is penile augmentation right for me?

There are a range of psychological and physiological reasons why a man would want to increase the size of their penis.  The “normal” penile size is influenced by a number of elements in including genetics and there is a wide range to what is normal.  For a particular group of patients it is to address “hidden” penis and this may be associated with obesity and abdominal skin hanging over the mons region. For others there may be a desire to enhance what is otherwise normal anatomy.

These procedures are not commonly practiced so it’s important to seek out the services of an appropriately qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeon who has expertise specifically in this area.

Potential complications

All surgery comes with some degree of risk. Although significant complications from penis enlargement are usually unlikely, complications such as bleeding and infection are possible. Your surgeon will explain potential complications and commit to supporting you throughout recovery.
