Browplasty (Brow Lift)
What is a browplasty (brow lift)?
A browplasty (brow lift) is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to elevate the skin of the forehead to improve a drooping eyebrow that may obstruct vision and/or to remove the deep “worry” lines that run across the forehead.
Is a browplasty (brow lift) right for me?
It’s best to seek out the services of a Specialist Plastic Surgeon to explain your concerns and have them determine if this procedure is right for you.
Potential complications
Having a browplasty (brow lift) requires the need to undergo anaesthesia which does carry extra risks. You may also experience some facial asymmetry or nerve injury. All of these however are rare and will be fully explained to you by your Specialist Plastic Surgeon prior to surgery being performed.
SURGERY & RECOVERY
During surgery
Your time in surgery may vary according to your needs and the specifics of the procedures being performed. Your specialist plastic surgeon will explain everything to you during your consultations.
Recovery
One of the most important reasons for choosing a reputable surgeon is knowing they will be by your side throughout the recovery process, ready to reassure and support you at every stage. Ask your specialist plastic surgeon what the recovery process will involve for you.
