INTERPLAST

Interplast Australia and New Zealand is the preferred charity of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Interplast sends teams of volunteer plastic and reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals to provide life-changing surgery and medical training in 17 countries across the Asia Pacific region. We encourage our members to support Interplast by volunteering for surgical and training programs, and fundraising for / promoting Interplast’s work. RACS

RACS is the leading advocate for surgical standards, professionalism and surgical education in Australia and New Zealand. The College is a not-for-profit organisation that represents more than 7000 surgeons and 1300 surgical trainees and International Medical Graduates. RACS also supports healthcare and surgical education in the Asia-Pacific region and is a substantial funder of surgical research. There are nine surgical specialties in Australasia being: Cardiothoracic surgery, General surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Otolaryngology Head-and-Neck surgery, Paediatric surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Urology and Vascular surgery.

ISAPS

ISAPS is the world’s largest international aesthetic plastic surgery society with over 3,500 members in 104 countries dedicated to aesthetic surgery education and patient safety. Members benefit from our 30 annual courses, indexed journal, newsletter, and unique insurance program.

ASPS

The New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons is a non-profit, professional association devoted to the maintenance of excellent ethical and professional standards within the field of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.

NZAPS represents most of New Zealand’s plastic surgeons and provides a strong voice for plastic surgeons in discussions with the government, the Ministry of Health and bodies such as the Medical Council. Our Training Board oversees matters regarding the training of plastic and reconstructive surgeons in New Zealand and liaises closely with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

NZAPS

Founded in 1970, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons Inc. (ASPS) is the peak body for Specialist Plastic Surgeons (both reconstructive and cosmetic). Our main role is to protect the integrity of plastic surgery as a specialty. Our mission is to provide the highest quality plastic surgery care to all Australians.
