What should a patient do if something is not right with their breast implants?

By Dr Raymond Goh
(FRACS, Specialist Plastic Surgeon)

If a patient feels like things aren’t right with their breast implants after an operation, and this can be in the short term after breast operation or long-term, they should actually see their surgeon – their original surgeon or a specialist plastic surgeon, to be fully assessed. And this would include a consultation discussion with what the issues are and examination. We may feel that it may be necessary to further investigate with an ultrasound or an MRI to elicit what the actual issue or problem is.”
