REGISTRATION CLOSED – SOLD OUT

Dear Attendees

The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) invites you to the Anatomical Dissection and Cosmetic Procedures Workshop, at the Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital on 13 June 2019.

This Workshop is open to Doctors and Nurses.  Be sure to register early, as places are limited to 60, and they sell out every year.

You will spend the day with expert facial aesthetic practitioners and will learn a range of techniques to advance your injecting skills. We understand that injectables anatomy is different – it’s all about the depth of the needle/cannula tip whereas surgical anatomy is all about tissue planes.

There will be two groups with the sessions run concurrently, to maximise your learning experience.

One group will begin the day at the Anatomy Laboratory where you’ll have the opportunity to view the injecting of cadaver models and to get a sense of appropriate volumes, contouring and harmony of the face. Advice will be given on “how-to” inject in certain anatomical regions with a focus on high and low-risk regions of the face.

There will be an International Faculty providing commentary during the cadaver dissections and an “Injecting Manual” will also be made available online that will enhance your overall educational experience.

The second group will begin with presentations and videos of injectable procedures that will highlight the main points and provide an unobscured vision of injecting techniques. Complimenting these videos will be commentary from the international and local speakers presenting at the Workshop.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Anatomical Dissection and Cosmetic Procedures Workshop in Sydney, 2019.

Best wishes,

Tim Papadopoulos, Past ASAPS President, Workshop Convenor
