Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) & New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons (NZAPS) Combined Conference 2018

The ASAPS Board is excited to be hosting its Annual Conference in Auckland, New Zealand from 2-5 August.

The 2018 Annual Conference will be held alongside the NZAPS Conference, providing attendees with a comprehensive scientific program that will cover the full breadth of the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery fields.

A BIT ABOUT NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand will provide a stunning backdrop for our 2018 Annual Conference.

Temperatures will be mild in Auckland, so it’s the perfect time of year to hike up Rangitoto – a dormant volcanic island – or visit the wild-west coast beaches. Sampling the delights of vineyard restaurants on Waiheke Island, is not to be missed, all within a 30 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland.

It’s also a great time of the year to explore the historic gold mining and Kauri logging towns of the Coromandel and its glorious beaches, free from the summertime crowds.

Winter is when New Zealand’s mountains come alive with skiers and snowboarders. In Queenstown and Wanaka, there are four world-class ski fields within an hour and a half of each other. For a thrill, try heli-skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing or sledging. If the snow isn’t for you, the crisp cooler days are perfect for walking, cycling or partaking of a Pinot Noir at the world renowned Central Otago vineyards.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to breathe in the fresh air, embrace the culture, and recharge the batteries – something we could all do with more of!
