Local contributors

There is a vast amount of untapped experience and knowledge within our membership base. We encourage you to share your wisdom, research and findings and submit abstracts, which will potentially enhance the topics our guests are presenting.

There are 2 simple, straightforward and user friendly formats that can be utilised for those uncertain about how to start presenting:

– 5 or 10 in a row (10 mins)
– Petcha Kutcha ( 20 slides in 6 min 40 Sec)

The Petcha Kutcha/ Short Talks on Cosmetic Surgery (SToCS) sessions include 20 slides in 20 second autoforward (6 mins 40 second duration). These sessions are both entertaining and informative and we look forward to your contribution.

Practice manager sessions

The practice management sessions will involve time combined with the plenaries and separate sessions specifically designed for your staff. We will be taking advantage of the beautiful Marriott resort and utilising various venues for these sessions to enhance the experience.

This year we are outsourcing elements of the PM sessions to create a program that is unattainable for most individual clinics. Practice Management, HR issues, Social Media and Marketing tips, Patient Management and Customer Satisfaction and various other topics will be covered.

These sessions are designed to be highly interactive and the Practice Staff will be encouraged to submit examples.

We look forward to welcoming you and your families to what is undoubtedly going to be the highlight in the Australasian Plastic Surgery calendar. We hope you all take advantage of the strong practice management program and bring your staff and we look forward to seeing you in the sunny Gold Coast.
