On Thursday June 4 2015, the day preceding the Non-Surgical Symposium (NSS) in Melbourne, the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) will run a full day workshop.

The Anatomy and Injecting Workshop starts with initial lectures on the anatomy of ageing and aesthetics before breaking into 2 groups. Time is spent in both anatomy demonstration and live injecting demonstrations. The groups swap at lunch so everyone spends half a day with anatomy dissections and half a day with live injecting.

The lab facilities at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons are of the highest standard and we are delighted that the workshop will held there for the first time in 2015.

The injecting faculty will be drawn from the faculty invited for the NSS which follows at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Our local faculty has an enormous knowledge in facial anatomy and the anatomy faculty will again be drawn primarily from our strong local members.

The meeting is open to all medical practitioners and verified nurses in the non-surgical realm.

This workshop is an ideal platform to attend with your nurse injectors. The combination of lectures about the principles of current non-surgical rejuvenation and then using your own proficiency in anatomy supported by the expertise of the faculty is an excellent forum to help your staff understand the anatomical basis of these treatments.

• The focus in on the anatomy of non-surgical rejuvenation techniques rather than surgical anatomy and covers anatomy of the mimetic muscles, vascular supply, spaces & ligaments.
• We utilise dyed filler to explore the precise targeted plane of treatments and also todemonstrate intravascular injection and the response to hyaluronidase emergencytreatment.
• Attendance is limited to 60 candidates so there is intimate access to the current leaders in the field in both the anatomy and injecting components.
